My work is about the relationship between people and animals. The compelling attachment that people and their pets have for one another creates situations that may appear bizarre to the viewer. However, animals are human companions and often humor and pathos are found in this animal/human bonding. I use my camera to find the significance of these moments.
The image belongs to a series of photographs taken on south Louisiana graveyards by American photographer William K. Greiner *1957 and is published in the book “The Reposed” by Louisiana State Univ Pr; First Edition (October 1, 1999).
