The Billboard Series 1960 to 1970’s predominately photographed in London and Paris, can be viewed as a stage element and backdrop with the ever changing protagonist seen and caught in the camera of Harold Chapman. It covers a variety of ways how to interpret them as an element of the urban stage. While most of the time they are dominated by an ‘interaction’ of people and backdrop, there are also examples, which focus on other aspects, like the examples below.
