My series named “Exposition of Constant Uncertainty” explores the effects and many forms of anxiety. Anxiety can often cloud our perceptions and experiences; therefore, my paintings are focused on tapping into my inner-most feelings via an intuitive and reactive process. Using a variety of direct materials such as a marker, house paint, ink wash, and tape offers a personalized, raw, and genuine representation. The use of immediately available media allows me to materialize my emotional state as I am experiencing it.
